Ethical standards policy
Last updated March 2025
At Ave, we believe in doing the right thing for our team, our clients, our partners, and the wider world. Our ethical standards guide the way we work and the choices we make every day.
Standing up for human rights
We’re committed to upholding the rights and freedoms of everyone we work with, directly or indirectly. That means we won’t work with anyone who doesn’t respect the rights of their workers, or who engages in exploitative or discriminatory practices.
We oppose all forms of modern slavery, discrimination, and inhumane treatment. Everyone has the right to be treated with dignity, fairness and respect and we do our best to make sure that’s true across all our relationships.
Fairness and equality at work
Our people are at the heart of our business. We follow all employment legislation, and in many cases go beyond it, to make sure everyone feels safe, valued and fairly treated.
We don’t tolerate harassment, bullying or discrimination of any kind. Everyone has the right to equal pay for equal work, to fair working hours, and to all forms of leave they’re legally entitled to, from annual leave to parental leave.
We also support everyone’s right to organise, whether that means joining a union or simply having a voice in how things are run.
Honest partnerships
Trust is everything. We expect honesty, integrity and transparency from ourselves and from the people and organisations we work with.
We avoid conflicts of interest, follow clear rules on gifts and hospitality, and have a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. If something doesn’t feel right, we encourage our team to speak up.
Confidentiality and data
Any personal information we hold, whether it’s about clients, collaborators or our own team, is handled with care and respect. We never use it for anything other than its intended purpose and always follow our Data Protection Policy.
Working with suppliers
We expect our suppliers and partners to live up to the same ethical standards we set for ourselves. We ask questions, do our due diligence, and aren’t afraid to walk away from a relationship that doesn’t feel right.
