Accessibility and inclusion

At Ave, accessibility and inclusion aren’t just add-ons, they’re central principles to how we work and have worked for over a decade.

Whether we’re running a client workshop, holding a team meeting, building a website or recruiting new talent, we design every interaction to be welcoming, respectful and accessible to all. How we build inclusion into everything we do:

Inclusive recruitment

We’re committed to creating a fair and inclusive recruitment process. That means:

  • Always list clearly the job commitment and salary details
  • Clearly written job descriptions with no jargon
  • Flexible formats for applications
  • Sharing interview questions in advance
  • Offering alternative interview formats as needed.

Designing with accessibility in mind

We apply inclusive design principles across all our work:

  • WCAG-compliant websites that are usable for all
  • Clear, high-contrast visuals and accessible typography
  • Content that’s easy to understand and navigate
  • Testing with real users and assistive technologies
  • Building in the principles of accessible design as set by the RNIB.
