Branding and Website Design
ForwardMotion South Essex is a behaviour change service run by the Council funded by the UK Government.
The project was led by Linstock Communication as was extensive. We ran a series of focus groups with different groups of users (both the general public and businesses) across the South Essex area. We also undertook surveys and stakeholder interviews. All of this content formed the digital and brand strategy that we worked from to build a concepts and prototypes for user feedback.
The website has two areas of content on its website. Firstly, public-facing information for the general public on how to travel better; it shares ideas, case studies, incentives, and events.
Secondly, there is a business login area. When you login to this secure space, a business can upload events to the calendar, add its success stories and downloads, and nominate travel champions. There is also the ability to edit and update your user profile. This login area is totally private and prevents pages and content being listed in Google or a sitemap. Also, due to businesses being able to add their own content it reduces the time requirements on the website administration team.
In addition to the login area, the website has an advanced search, share buttons, mailing list and CRM integration and custom post type for bespoke content.
